1. About My Car Showroom

My Car Showroom (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an automated image processing service that removes backgrounds, adds floor shadows and places vehicle photos into clean showroom-style backgrounds. The service is designed for car dealers and private sellers.

By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Our Service

In summary, our service works as follows:

  • You upload vehicle images via our website uploader.
  • We automatically process the images using our tools.
  • We deliver processed images back to you by download and/or email.

We aim to deliver results within a short time, but processing times may vary depending on system load, your connection, and third-party tools. Time estimates are guidelines only and are not guaranteed.

3. Your Responsibilities

By using the service, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to use and upload the images you submit.
  • Your images do not contain illegal, harmful, abusive, or offensive content.
  • Your use of the service complies with applicable laws in your country.
  • You will not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend service if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

4. Pricing & Payment

Our core service is priced on a pay-per-image basis (for example £0.60 per processed photo, unless otherwise stated on the website). You will always see a total price before paying.

  • Payment is taken in advance of processing.
  • Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, Braintree or similar PCI-DSS compliant processors.
  • We do not store your full card details on our own servers.

5. Delivery & Quality

Processed images are created automatically. The output quality depends heavily on the quality of your original photos (lighting, angles, cropping, resolution etc.).

We aim to create clean, consistent images suitable for vehicle listings, but we do not guarantee that every image will be perfect or match a specific artistic style. Minor imperfections or differences in lighting, colour or angle are not considered service faults.

6. Refunds

Our Refund Policy is explained in more detail on the dedicated Refunds page. In brief:

  • Refunds are available where there is a clear technical fault with the output caused by our system, or where a paid image is not delivered.
  • Refunds are not offered for simple change of mind, or where low quality input images produce lower quality results.
  • We may choose to re-process an image instead of issuing a refund where appropriate.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original images. By uploading images, you grant us a licence to process, temporarily store and deliver the edited versions of those images.

We retain all intellectual property rights in our website, software, templates, backgrounds, branding and logos. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our service or branded assets without our permission.

8. Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree not to use the service for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or to promote unlawful activity.
  • Uploading abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory images.
  • Misleading advertising or fraudulent listings.
  • Automated scraping or unauthorised bulk use of the service.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue or business.
  • Loss of data, goodwill, or reputation.
  • Any indirect, special, or consequential loss.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid for the specific images or order concerned.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
